  AFTE DUES Payments

The fiscal year of the Association shall be from January 1 through December 31.  Members can pay their annual dues online using PayPal.  Member dues paid before April 1st. of each calendar year receive a $25.00 discount.  This applies to regular and provisional members, not technical or life members.

If payment is not received by July 1st. of the following year the member will be dropped.  No exceptions!

  AFTE Journal Subscription Fee

A subscription to the AFTE Journal is available from the Treasurer, at the subscription rate of $150.00 dollars.  

NOTE: The Board of Directors voted on December 7, 2002 to change the AFTE Journal Subscription rate. The change is in effect now and will be: North America $150; Elsewhere $180. This will insure that all AFTE Journals being mailed outside North America will be shipped via First Class Mail.

Prepayment of the subscription rate is required. Subscriptions paid before April 1st. of each calendar year receive a $25.00 discount.

Claims for non-receipt of the AFTE Journal must be submitted in writing within six months following the date of publication.

  Provisional Member Applicant Fee/Dues

The application fee for Provisional Membership is $35.00 and you must also pay your first year's dues at the same time for a total of $135.00.

If you are submitting an application for Provisional Membership to AFTE you must either send a check (for $135.00) along with your membership packet or you can make payment via PayPal.

  AFTE JOURNAL CD ROM (1969-1999)

Journals from 1969 through 1999 have been imaged and burned onto two CD ROMS.  The image files are in a Visioneer "Paperport" format and a viewer application is included.  The Journals are only images and are not searchable by keyword.  Index pages for each journal are provided as separate files.

The CD's are an excellent resource for information related to firearm and toolmark identification.
