AFTE 2012
43rd Annual Training Seminar

International attendees add greatly to the annual AFTE
Training Seminar. If you do not live in the United States and wish to
attend the AFTE Training Seminar, you may need to secure a Nonimmigrant
Visa. Advance travel planning and early visa application are important,
since visa applications are subject to a greater degree of scrutiny than
in the past.
If you determine that you need to apply for a
Nonimmigrant Visa and your United States Consulate or Embassy office
requires a letter of invitation, please contact Mark
Shaw. All Letters of Invitation will be mailed via
First Class/Airmail and emailed to the requester. Due to the lengthy
Visa issuance process (sometimes longer than three months), you should
request the Letter of Invitation as soon as you decide to attend the
AFTE Training Seminar.
The AFTE Training Seminar Host Committee is unable to assist in
any matters relating to visa issuance procedures other than to mail
Letters of Invitation. If you have specific questions, please visit the
websites listed below or contact your local United States Consulate or
Embassy.
