Ground Transportation

From the Airport: Attendees can use a number of different options to get to the hotel.  The Sunport Shuttle (505-883-4966) offers $11 one-way and $20 round-trip fares (additional people are $5 extra).  There are two cab companies that offer transportation from the airport to the hotel for ~$18-$20 one-way; Albuquerque Cab (505-883-4888) and Yellow Cab (505-247-8888).

Around Town: The City of Albuquerque has a great bus transportation system allowing you to reach any part of the city in a short period of time.  Passes can be purchased at the Alvarado Transfer Station (around the corner from the hotel) for $2/day.

Room Rate

The room rate for a single/double occupancy room will be $125/night. Upgraded rooms with mountain or panoramic views are available for an additional cost.  Rooms will be subject to the current prevailing local and state tax rates (currently 13%). Cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to arrival.  The group rate will be available 3 days prior and 3 days after the seminar based on availability. To book your reservation identify yourself as part of AFTE 2013. Reservations must be booked by May 31, 2013 to be eligible for the group rate.

Refund Policy

Registration Cancellation

A full refund will be guaranteed if confirmed notification is received on or before June 16, 2013. After that date, refunds will be provided if sufficient funding is available.

Workshop Cancellation

A full refund will be guaranteed if confirmed notification is received on or before June 16, 2013 or if the workshop position is filled and paid by another participant. After that date, refunds will be provided if sufficient funding is available.
 

Attractions and Activities

The Hyatt is surrounded by over 20 restaurants with a 5-block radius encompassing a variety of cuisine choices.  In addition, there are a number of late-night spots as well as a movie theater right around the corner.  One block from the hotel is the NM Rail Runner, a commuter train running from ABQ up to Santa Fe.
