AFTE Store - The Taurus Recall

Article reprint from the June 1977 issue of ‘The Shooting Industry’. Recall and testing of the firearms revealed the problem to be caused by too much metal remaining on the hammer where it engages the rebound slide. Removal of this metal in the affected firearms corrected the problem. According to the author, at the time of this writing, this recall was the largest firearm recall in history.
