AFTE Store - Subclass Characteristics in Smith & Wesson SW40VE Sigma Pistols
During the course of routine casework the carryover of subclass characteristics among two Smith & Wesson SW40VE Sigma pistols was discovered. This article documents the similarity of these characteristics through the comparison of test standards and Mikrosil casts of the breech faces. The manufacturing process for these pistols is also briefly explained.
