Precision Delta Corporation began in the garage of a struggling Mississippi Delta farmer in 1982. In 1988 Precision Delta Corporation introduced a new line of ammunition, Precision Delta Match Ammunition. This new ammunition is made specifically for the Police Practical Combat competitive shooter. It has been a highly successful ammunition used by champions to win 7 NRA PPC National Championships since 1988. Philip Hemphill of the MS Highway Patrol not only is a 5 time NRA PPC National Champion but he also holds the PPC record of a perfect score of 1500 with 116x's while shooting Precision Delta Match Ammunition. Ken Dunlap also of the MS Highway Patrol and John Pride of the Los Angeles, CA Police Pistol Team have also won a NRA PPC National Championship while shooting Precision Delta Match Ammunition.
We use the same components in our Precision Delta Remanufactured Ammunition as in our Match Ammunition, with the exception of recycled once fired brass casing. Since our remanufactured ammunition offers great savings and has the same accuracy and reliability as our match ammunition, it is widely used as a training round in the law enforcement community and by competitive and recreational shooters. For the reloader, Precision Delta also offers a full line of pistol bullets.
In 1985 Precision Delta Corporation became a Winchester Law Enforcement Distributor. Today we have grown to become one of Winchester's largest Law Enforcement Distributors in the country. Precision Delta also distributes Peltor Electronic Hearing Protection and Communication Equipment and Combined Tactical Systems (CTS) Less-Lethal Munitions.

The original parent company, a U.S. corporation registered in Delaware, was founded in the late 1970's in New York as Patton Morgan Corporation. It began operations by importing military style small arms ammunition and .22 rimfire ammunition manufactured in South Korea. The ammunition was sold then, as it still is, under the registered brand name "PMC Ammunition", and the original slogan, "Precision Made Cartridges" has never changed.
Several years later, the company moved to Los Angeles, California, and its name was changed to Pan Metal Corporation. In addition to its ammunition business, the company also dealt in other facets of the metals business. Early in the 1980's, the increasingly successful ammunition line was expanded to include hunting (soft point) cartridges in the rifle calibers, and hollow points in the handgun ammunition.
In 1988, factory facilities were purchased near Boulder City, Nevada, for the production of ammunition to supplement the Korean imports, and for the purpose of producing two new lines of high performance cartridges. These were the Starfire handgun ammunition for law enforcement and home and personal defense, and X-Bullet rifle ammunition for big game hunting, which were introduced to the market in late 1991. In 1996, shotgun shells were added to the line.
The factory is operated under the name Eldorado Cartridge Corporation, and is a subsidiary of Pan Metal Corporation.
Today, the company's continuously expanding small arms ammunition product selection includes a full line of centerfire rifle and pistol ammunition, rimfire ammunition, shotgun shells, and reloading components. Recently, a new company known as B.C. Outdoors was incorporated and became a part of the "Eldorado Cartridge Corporation Group of Companies." B.C. Outdoors imports the Verona line of quality superposed shotguns from Italy. The company's stated purpose, like that of Eldorado Cartridge Corporation, is "to provide high quality outdoor products to its customers at a reasonable price."
During its more than two decades of ammunition production and sales, PMC Ammunition has become very well known in the United States and other countries of the world as a source of high quality small arms cartridges. The firm is now considered the fourth largest ammunition company in the United States.

"P.S." may be included on headstamps that were 9mm contracts for Italian police. P.S. stands for Polizia di Stato (State Police). This has been seen on G.F.L. and S&B cartridge cases, and can be encountered in countries other than Italy when over-run productions are sold on the market.
In this example, the NATO symbol is at 12:00, while the lot number and year of manufacture is at 6:00.

NATEC, Inc. is the sole manufacturer of patented, high pressure, polymer-cased ammunition (PCA). This lightweight cartridge functions in existing weapons; utilizes conventional projectiles, propellants, and primers, and generates similar, if not better ballistic/performance results to comparable metal-cased products. NATEC polymer-cased rifle ammunition is produced today for law enforcement and sporting markets (both target and hunting), all at a lower cost to the consumer.
NATEC, Inc., located in Plattsburgh, New York is the sole manufacturer of the world's first, high pressure, polymer-cased ammunition (PCA). The company's facilities are located along the flightline of the closed Plattsburgh Air Force Base, and include administrative offices, an inert component parts manufacturing facility, and an assembly building with a DoD-approved indoor test firing range. In addition, NATEC leases bunker storage and an off-site indoor/outdoor test firing range located within minutes of the general facilities.
Our staff, led by President and CEO, Dr. Nabil Husseini has been determined to prove the viability of polymer-cased ammunition since the 1990's. As the owner of Amtech, Inc. (essentially the predecessing company to NATEC), Dr. Husseini enlisted a world leader in manufacturing polymers, DuPont to engineer an advanced polymer to withstand the high pressures and temperatures associated with rifle ammunition. Working together, and as proof of the advances made in engineering polymers, these companies have successfully achieved what others have attempted to accomplish since the 1960's... high pressure, polymer-cased ammunition.
The U.S. Military has substantial interest in this revolutionary technology due to its ever present need to lower the weight of the soldier and aircraft. The Office of Naval Research, with Marine Corps sponsorship awarded a contract to the company in 1999 to test, evaluate, and qualify the polymer-cased ammunition for service use. A follow-on award ensued in 2000, with a final Pre-Qualification Screening Test passed successfully in 2001. The project is currently under assessment by the U.S. Army (the end qualifier and procurer of all small arms ammunition for the U.S. Military) for validation of the service-suitability of the NATEC polymer-cased ammunition, which is timely in nature with the current objective of the U.S. Army to lighten the soldier's load. Combined with the pressure put on our Armed Forces to field technologically-advanced products near-term as a part of the Country's War on Terrorism, NATEC is optimistic that the military version of their polymer-cased ammunition will see service use in 2004.

Seen on 7.62x39mm cartridges, the 'P' and 'K' in this headstamp are Cyrillic for 'R' and 'K'. R K 1 means Reserved Capacity No. 1 and was manufactured at Suvenir, Samokov, Macedonia, in the former Yugoslavia. This style headstamp was most likely used between 1984-1990, as can be seen in the 4 digits at the bottom of the headstamp.

PMP has been involved in the manufacture of ammunition since 1931. It is a division of Denel (Pty) Ltd, a well-known player on the world defence market.
PMP has established itself as a manufacturer of world class military and commercial ammunition products and components. Its small and medium calibre ammunition ranges conform to the most exacting military standards and specifications, and are manufactured in comprehensive facilities at Pretoria West. POF was founded in 1951 with the primary objective of producing arms and ammunition for the armed forces of Pakistan. Prvi Partizan company was founded in 1928. In those days it was operating under the name FOMU - Arms and Ammunition Factory Uzice. A production program was based on hunting arms and ammunition production in calibers 12, 16 and 20.
The factory had developed pistol and revolver ammunition production by the year 1938. in calibers: 6.35mm, 7.65mm and 9mm Browning; 5.8mm Velodog; 8mm Gasser; 8mm and 9mm Steyr; 7.62mm Nagant; 9mm, 11.2mm and 12 mm Central; and since 1940. rifle ammunition in caliber 7.9 has been produced.

With accumulated technology in manufacturing copper based materials for military ammunition, Poongsan commenced defense industry in 1973 and has contributed to self-reliance of defense of Korea through developing and manufacturing all kinds of ammunition for from small calibre cartridge to large calibre cartridge.
The company has produced top quality products by utilizing vertically integrated production systems producing materials and semi-finished products including fuze, link, tungsten penetrator and propellant as well as complete rounds. Furthermore, Poongsan has started in manufacturing of sporting ammunitions since early of 1980's and rose to one of leading manufacturers in the world by exporting more than 100 items to the overseas market.
