AFTE 2017 Technical Session - Call for Papers

The AFTE 2017 Training Seminar is coming up soon, and the AFTE 2017 Host Committee is ready to accept abstracts for the 2017 Technical Program!

We are looking for a mix of case studies and research papers. Did you have a new/weird firearm submitted for case work? Did you validate a new procedure? Did you have a crazy/impossible trajectory analysis or reconstruction? Did you have a case where you had to think outside the box or just flat out ignore the box? Tell us about it!!!

The AFTE Training Seminar is a chance for professionals in the field, along with vendors supporting the discipline, to meet, exchange ideas, report on new scientific work, demonstrate new technology, and refresh contacts. In order for this to happen, we need YOU, the members of AFTE and those pursuing research in the field, to submit an abstract for consideration by the 2016 Technical Program Committee. Your abstracts can be submitted by using the online form available below.

If you have questions or concerns, please contact:

** IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION**

Papers will be evaluated based on content and not on a first-come, first-served basis.  All abstracts must be received by April 16, 2017 to be considered for admission to the AFTE 2017 Technical Program.  Authors will be contacted once a decision has been finalized.

Presentations will be limited to 30 minutes.  If a presentation is to include more than one speaker, the total speaking time will be limited to one hour.  (Exceptions will be determined on an as needed basis.)

If your presentation is not chosen for the technical session, please consider displaying it during our Poster Session or presenting during the Bring Your Own Slides (BYOS) event on the evening of Monday May 15th.
