AFTE Store - 380 Auto Arcology: The firing pin ejector models

An emirical study of class characteristics found on 380 Auto evidence is reaching completion. To introduce some of the many facets of the study, several short themes have been chosen for presentation. The following study may assist the examiner in recognizing 380 Auto cartridge case evidence fired in a firing pin ejecting pistol, and in the determination of which of five 380 Auto pistols, in fact, fired the evidence. Two common modern 380 Auto pistols are prominently portrayed in this study: Lorcin and Bryco autoloading pistols which sometimes mimic their peculiar “billowed arcs” breechface marks.
