AFTE Store - A Fracture Match in a Police-Involved Shooting Investigation

A fracture match examination was requested in a police-involved shooting case. A broken knife handle was compared to a piece of foreign material found embedded in the shooting victim’s hand. The foreign material was identified as having riginated from the broken knife handle.
