AFTE Store - A Hybrid Handgun – The ‘Smolt’

After an article in Guns and Ammo magazine entitled “Hybrid Handguns”, all firearms examiners should be aware of the hybrid firearms called Smolt and Couger. A company named Cake-Davis modifies S&W model 19 with a Colt model Python barrel, and markets the firearm as the Smolt. The Ruger version is called the Couger.
