AFTE Store - A Review of SCCY (SKYY) Industries Firearms

An unusual 9mm Luger caliber bullet with seven lands and grooves with a right twist was submitted to the Laboratory along with a cartridge and a cartridge case. Initial examination and a quick search through Scott Doyle’s Rifling Data Search 8 revealed no firearms with similar class characteristics in 9mm Luger caliber. [1] Further research conducted on The Association of Firearms and Tool Mark Examiners (AFTE) forum and contact with SCCY Industries pointed to their 9mm Luger caliber CPX-1 firearm. [2]
