AFTE Store - A Submachine Gun with an Arced Open Bolt Mechanism

This technical report discusses the unusual design/construction of a submachine gun which was produced seventy years ago. The construction is based on an open bolt mechanism where a flywheel-type (arced) bolt is used. The report provides the history of the design, discusses the weapons’ construction and the principles utilized.
