Silencers for revolvers are usually not very effective. They are, therefore, seldom used and so rarely encountered in ballistic laboratories. We report on a revolver with a virtually undetectable, precision tooled adaptation for a silencer. When in place on the revolver, the silencer proved efficient in reducing both the sound level and muzzle flash of the weapon.
