A pen gun involved in a death investigation was found to uniquely mark the bullet and cartridge case of ammunition fired in it. Furthermore, the pen gun was found to be dangerous to handled in a loaded condition. An unusual remote firing mechanism was utilized to fire the “button trigger” pen gun.
