Slam fire of an Excam Model RX22 .22 caliber pistol occurred as the slide was pulled back and then released forward. Check of safeties proved operating as designed and fired cartridge case showed no evidence of contact with the firing pin (consistent with the trigger activated firing pin block functioning correctly)
