AFTE Store - An Unusual Toolmark Identification

A 22 caliber rifle barrel was received in casework which had been allegedly used to fire cartridges by hand-chambering a round and then striking the rim with a rock or tool. Suspect tools were submitted for comparison. An identification was made to a set of cutting pliers.
