AFTE Store - Another Hazard for Police Officers

A report of a warning from the FBI concerning rechargeable nickel-cadmium batteries coming in contact with ammunition. This combination can cause an explosion of unfired cartridges. A common place for this to occur was noted as in the pants pocket of a police officer. Multiple occurences of this phenomenon have been reported.
