AFTE Store - Black Powder Heartburn

A shooting victim was shot through the heart (ventricle), was transported to the hospital where he was stabilized, the ventricle repaired, and he survived. A witness to the shooting described the muzzle flash as extremely bright, and the report very loud. A .44 caliber round-ball was recovered by the surgeon and submitted to the laboratory for examination.
