AFTE Store - Bullet Examinations from the Executions of the Russian Emperor Nicholas II Romanov and His Family
The family of Russian Emperor Nicholas II were executed by revolutionaries in 1918. Seventy years after this event, bullets were found from the shooting. The paper describes the results of the examination of recovered bullets. Part of the uniqueness of this examination is that the bullets remained in the ground for over 70 years and despite such a considerable period of time, examiners managed to make comparisons that resulted in identifications.
