It has been noted from previous research into consecutively fired bullet and cartridge case studies that barrel and/or breechface wear will occur. This study was conducted to determine if the toolmarks on fired cartridge cases would change significantly during the firing of 10,000 cartridges from a GLOCK .40 S&W caliber pistol.
