AFTE Store - Comparison of 5000 Consecutively Fired Bullets and Cartridge Cases From a 45 Caliber M1911A1 Pistol

Five thousand shots were fired from a Colt M1911A1 pistol, and bullet and cartridge case comparisons were conducted. Cartridge case one was identified to cartridge case 5000 on breechface marks. Bullet number one was identified with bullet 5000.
