AFTE Store - Dangerous Doubling

A C.O.P 357 Magnum caliber four-barreled pistol was received for testing. During test firing the pistol doubled. The pistol was examined to try and determine the possible cause for this potentially dangerous malfunction. A possible explanation is proposed.
