AFTE Store - Ejection Port Marks on Cartridge Cases Discharged from Glock Pistols

The purpose of this article is to share with firearms examiners a set of marks, which are produced during the ejection of cartridge cases from Glock Pistols. This set of marks will be called Ejection Port Marks. They contain a wealth of individual characteristics. Using this set of marks will simplify and accelerate the firearms examiner’s comparison work. This article describes the marks and their origin, uniqueness, recurrence and their benefits to the firearms examiner.
