AFTE Store - Evaluation of Rank Positions Within Regions of Interest (ROI) for Published NIBIN Leads

The NIBIN National Correlation and Training Center (NNCTC) performs correlation reviews for a number of participating NIBIN sites. A study was undertaken to determine the rank position within the Rank Sort category and each of six regions of interest (ROI) of 2,548 leads published by the NNCTC. The Rank Sort feature has been observed to be very powerful with approximately 50% of the NIBIN Leads in the first position and approximately 95% within the Top-20. When Rank Sort and six ROI were available, all but two leads placed in the Top-20 while all placed in the Top-30. When Rank Sort and only two-dimensional ROI were available, 98.7% of the leads placed in the Top-20 and 99.3% within the Top-30.
