AFTE Store - Firing Pin Hole Drag

This report will introduce, investigate and verify a set of individual marks produced by the firing pin hole drag found on fired cartridge cases from a Jericho pistol, model 941 FS, caliber 9mm Parabellum. These unique individual marks are produced by the upper circular edge of the firing pin hole as a new round is being loaded into the chamber. These individual characteristics have not been previously documented in professional literature and are introduced for use by firearm examiners.
