Forensic Examination of Cut Marks Made by a Label Maker

In this case report, the examination of toolmarks on cut joint faces of labelling tape pieces with a thickness of approximately 100um (~0.004 in.) is presented. The fine striae on the joint faces of the labels did bear a sufficient amount of detail for toolmark examination. The examination proved that the labels were cut with a specific label maker’s cutter.
