Methods of exterior ballistics were applied to answer the question, whether a window of an asylum house could be hit by throwing a ‘Molotov Cocktail’ from a distance of 18 m. It was found that this possibility could not be ruled out from the standpoint of physics, but that certain conditions must be fulfilled.
