AFTE Store - IBIS Correlation Results of Cartridge Cases Collected Over the Course of 500 Firings from a Glock Pistol

This study examines the capability of the IBIS system to find known matching fired cartridge cases that have been produced after the moderate use of a GlockTM firearm. A total of 500 cartridges were fired from a GlockTM pistol. The individual characteristics of the breech face and firing pin persisted throughout the firings, and IBIS was able to properly correlate the known match within the top twenty results for each cartridge case entered.
