AFTE Store - Identification of Bullets Fired From a Partially Obliterated Barrel

A firearm with partially obliterated rifling was identified through the individual characteristics left by rifling near the throat. Through the use of IBIS, two cases were connected, and subsequently fired bullets were identified to a murder weapon. The attempt to conceal individual characteristics was unsuccessful.
