This article describes a case where an examiner was asked to compare a slammer tool and a wing cap from a automobile ignition to an ignition lock on a stolen car. The examiner was not able to identify the tool to the ignition lock but was able to perform a fracture match of the wing cap to the ignition lock. Picture of comparison included.
