AFTE Store - Into the Breech Once Again – Family Characteristic Differences Between Glock and Smith and Wesson Pistols

Several recently published papers have discussed family characteristics of Glock and Smith and Wesson Sigma pistols, describing how examiners can differentiate between them and in some cases which model discharged and ejected specific cartridge cases. Additional markings have now been observed and the present paper describes their origin, orientation, and characteristics.
