Lead Imprints: An Aid For Comparison Of Bullets Fired From Leaded, Smoothbore or Shot-out Barrels

A technique involving the rolling of mostly-round fired bullets on a sheet of lead allows for an expedited comparison of bullets fired from bores which are not imprinting distinct land and groove edges. Editor’s note: another potential use of this technique would be to allow for the “sharing” of certain major case evidence bullets – a replica of sorts.
