AFTE Store - Magazine Malfunctions of a SWD Can Cause Double Feeding of Cartridges and Unintentional Discharge

An SWD Cobray M11 was submitted to Firearms Examination Unit for examination in a police involved shooting. During test firing the weapon malfunctioned double feeding a second cartridge that detonated on the corner of the open bolt. It was later determined that the magazine was the cause of the double feed.
