AFTE Store - Mauser Serial Number Information

Tour of the Mauser Firearms Factory revealed the serial numbers on all current weaons were engraved. On handguns, the last three digits of the serial number were stamped on the barrel. Prefixes indicate caliber. Letter E indicated barrel was an exchange or an extra.
