AFTE Store - Mushroom Projectile

This author was presented a case initially consisting of four projectiles with a request of weapon type determination. Upon itemization a mushroom projectile was found and a search to determine the cause of this rarity was began. The mushroom projectile was determined to be two fused .32 caliber lead bullets. It was also weighed and compared with other bullets in evidence and identified as having been fired from the same firearm as the others.
