Pressure Effects on Firing Pin Impression Depth

Federal .38 spl, .38 spl +P, and 357 magnum ammuntion was fired using two different Smith and Wesson Model 66 revolvers. They were fired single action and double action. An examination of the depth of the firing pin impressions were made to determine if any significant differences existed due to the variations in pressure of the three loads, of due to the single action and double action firing.
