Recognizing Reloaded Ammunition: An Examination and Evaluation of Reloading Marks

Various calibers and types of reloaded ammunition were examined in order to determine how distinguishable they were from commercial non-reloaded ammunition. Fired commercial ammunition was also examined before and after each step in reloading processes to evaluate the possible impact on both fired and cycled marks. Commonly encountered reloading marks will also be reviewed.
