AFTE Store - Remington Steel Shot Waterfowl Loads

The concern over lead poisoning of waterfowl has led to the development of steel shot for hunting. State and private agencies, in cooperation with the Bureau of Sport Fisheries and Wildlife of the U.S. Department of the Interior, will be conducting special test programs involving the use of shotgun shells loaded with steel shot rather than the traditional lead shot.
