AFTE Store - Reprint: Investigation into Examinations and Analysis of Gunshot Residues
The intent of the project was to evaluate the importance of various tests and procedures available for detection of gunshot residues deposited by handguns onto clothing fabrics. A consideration of increasing importance is to perform the necessary tests without altering or destroying the fabric. The variables are weapon, ammunition type, distance and fabric.
