Revolver Cartridges In Automatics

Case involved a Mauser HSc .32 Auto being loaded with .32 S&W short cartridges. Subsequent examination revealed that the Mauser loaded the S&W short cartridges from the magazine and fired with no problems. Additional tests with other manufacturers revealed similar results except the Colt Hammerless which functioned as a “two shooter” and the Frommer which would not fire.
