AFTE Store - Scientific Reliability-Publication, Peer Review, and the AFTE Journal-

The modern aspects of peer review and associated misconceptions are explored in this article. An underlying philosophical approach to literature review is also presented so that the pros and cons of modern-day pre-publication review can be assessed. Opinions delivered by the United States Supreme Court and published literature on the subject of peer review were studied with relevant themes and points presented. Should future updates to AFTE’s editorial guidelines ever be implemented, the research contained within this paper will be of great benefits to the AFTE Editor, AFTE Board of Direcctors, submitting authors, and journal readers. Because our work depends on the publication of our peer’s work and experiments, this subject is of critical importance.
