AFTE Store - SKS Rifle Modification

Routine examination of a Norinco manufactured SKS rifle revealed the weapon had been modified to fire fully automatic. Detailed examination of the modifications revealed a well thought-out series of modifications not before seen in this laboratory that provided for controllable and reliable full auto function. The modifications resulted in the weapon firing only when the bolt is in battery, eliminating out of battery and follow-through type full auto fire. Controlled two round bursts were possible with the weapon. There was no provision for semi-automatic fire in the modifications.
