AFTE Store - Slam Firing Calico M-100/M-100P Firearms

One Calico model M-100 .22 L.R. rifle and one Calice model M-100P .22 L.R. pistol could each “slam fire” under certain conditions. Allowing the bolt to snap home with a cartridge in the chamber caused a slam fire each time it was attempted. The ability of the bolt to move slightly from side to side is the primary cause of the slam fires. This situation was not observed with cartridges loaded into the chamber from an appropriate magazine.
