AFTE Store - Smith & Wesson 9mm Autoloading Pistols are now Rifled 5R

Technical update to indicate that S&W model 39 and 59 9mm pistols have been rifled 5R since November 1976. No serial number changeover was given. The reason for the change was improved accuracy. The rate of twist was reported as 18-3/4″
