AFTE Store - Subclass Characteristics Found on Tactical-Hulk Semi-Automatic Pistols
During routine casework on a Tactical Hulk semi-automatic pistol, .32 Auto (7.65mm Browning) caliber, a breech-face impression was observed. These marks appeared familiar to the examiner from a previous case a few weeks before and upon microscopic examination seemed to show a “false positive comparison”. These marks were part of a set of marks found on
the primer of the cartridge cases. The objective of the article was to determine the origin of the marks, and to decide if those marks have subclass or individual characteristics. Five Tactical Hulk PT-12 pistols were test fired and the cartridge cases were compared.
