AFTE Store - Suicidal Wound Inflicted with a .22 Long Rifle Acutuated Nail Gun

A 47-year-old white male with a history of mental illness went into a field with a powdered actuated stud gun. The victim placed the stud gun to the top of his head and applied enough pressure on the gun to fire a 2.5″ long threaded concrete nail inot his skull. The threaded nail followed a straight course down the victim’s vertebral column, finally coming to rest between the 4th and 5th rib in the middle of the spinal column.
