Technical Report: Forensic Buddy on Trial

Savage Range Systems has developed a new system to capture pistol bullets for use in matching rifling markings by the use of comparative microscopes. The goal was to provide a portable system with low purchase and maintenance costs. The system must be able to reliably trap bullets without any impact damage so that the bullets retain the requisite rifling marks for comparison.
