AFTE Store - The Guns of Brownsville

This article takes a closer look at the events that took place prior to August 1906 and after in Brownsville Texas. While several cartridge cases were identified by firing pin impressions and breech face marks to four rifles from the first Battalion of the United States Twenty-fifth Infantry from Fort Brown. There were other events that suggest the cartridge cases had been fired from those rifles at an earlier date and placed at the shooting scene in Brownsville on the night in question.
