AFTE Store - The Language of Toolmarks

The future of toolmark identification depends heavily on the ability of examiners to effectively articulate it scientific foundation. Because of the this, heavy research is being conducted to formulate an objective, numerical “identification criteria.” Since this value might be impossible to calculater, this paper offers an alternative to articulating the science of toolmarks identification and attempts to address some key debates that are common in the all identification sciences.
