AFTE Store - Toolmarks in Bone: Continuing Research with Consecutively Made Knife Blades

This paper follows in a line of research validating the analysis of toolmarks in bone using the comparison of toolmarks made with knives manufactured consecutively. The experimental results show that bone is a suitable material for accepting toolmarks and that consecutively made knife blades can be differentiated using techniques already employed by firearm and toolmark examiners.
